Publish Tableau File Action

Publish Tableau File package action is used to publish Datasource and Workbook files to the Tableau server

Workflow tab

1. Write Variables option forces package action to save variables values into the log file before the execution.
2. It is usually used for debugging and not recommended for production environment.
3. It can be globally disabled using options dialogue

Advanced tab

• Following Tableau file types supported: TDSX,TDS,TDE,Hyper,TWB and TWBX
• Append option only works for Tde and Hyper files

After execution tab

Specifies which variables will be set once action execution is completed
