Scheduler

Introduction

Once a Package, Transformation, or SQL Script is created, the Scheduler enables the user to execute it at regular intervals. It can be set to run once, or on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Additionally, the user can specify a particular day of the week or month for execution.

Action Descriptions

  1. Schedule Properties
    Configure and manage scheduling options for executing actions.

  2. Refresh Data Grid
    Reload the displayed data to ensure the grid reflects the most recent updates.

  3. Create a New Record
    Add a new entry to the data source.

  4. Post Changes to the Database
    Save and apply any modifications made to the records in the database.

  5. Delete Record
    Remove the selected record from the data source.

  6. Clone Record
    Duplicate the selected record, creating an identical copy.

  7. Print
    Send the current view or selected data to a printer.

  8. Print Preview
    Display a preview of the data as it will appear when printed.

  9. Find
    Search for specific data or records within the grid.

  10. Export Data
    Save the displayed data to an external file in various formats.

  11. Export Data into Excel
    Export the data directly to an Excel file for further analysis.

  12. Show/Hide Fields
    Customize the visible columns in the data grid by showing or hiding specific fields.

  13. Auto Format Grid
    Automatically apply formatting to the grid for a cleaner and more organized appearance.

  14. Show Grouping Panel
    Display a panel that allows grouping of data by specific fields.

  15. Edit Selected Object
    Open the selected object for modification.

  16. Run Selected Object Right Now
    Execute the selected object immediately, bypassing the schedule.

The Advanced Schedule Options feature enables the definition of execution boundaries, allowing precise control over when actions are permitted to run. This ensures that scheduled tasks operate within specific time frames or conditions.
