Using Command Line Interface

To run a package, transformation or SQL Script from the command line type:

aetlcl.exe ID

for Advanced ETL Processor

vpr.exe ID

for Visual Importer ETL

Optional Parameters

Number of retries

Maximum number of times the ETL engine will automatically attempt to re-run a failed execution before marking it as failed.

aetlcl.exe 956 retries=2

Hard time out

The maximum time, in seconds, after which the ETL engine will automatically terminate the execution if it has not completed.

aetlcl.exe 956 hardtimeout=100

Soft time out

The maximum time, in seconds, after which the ETL engine will stop initiating new actions. It will wait for the current action to finish, and then terminate the execution.

aetlcl.exe 956 softtimeout=100

Every object has an ID associated with it.
