The transformation screen is used to create and modify data transformation processes.
The default transformation consists of a reader, validator, transformer and writer.
The template shows the actual transformation script source.
The execution log provides information about the Advanced ETL Processor and the actions it took during its operations. This is useful when you wish to analyze the activities of individual processes during their execution.
Occasionally, records will be rejected by the processor. This may be due to things like corrupt records which have been read in a format not expected by the processor. The rejected records tab allows the user to see a list of all the rejected records and other information about the nature of the rejection and where this occurred in the process.
The new transformation consists of Reader, Validator, Transformer and Writer. You may add a new object at any time by dragging it from the Objects panel.
To join two objects together, first click on the source Output button then drag it on to the Input button.
To remove the link, repeat the same procedure again.
Every time the user presses the save button transformation is automatically added to the version control
The incremental search dialogue provides a convenient way of locating transformation objects to the end-user within complex data mappings.
