Note: that for conda distributions to work properly, you need to add Format(’%s;%0:s\Library\bin;’, [Version.InstallPath] to your Windows path if it is not there already.
The installation of the Advanced ETL Processor requires up to 250 MB of disk space.
We recommend at least 8 GB of memory for optimal performance. However, since our software streams data rather than loading it all into memory at once, having more memory will not necessarily improve performance.
For most use cases, our customers successfully run the ETL software on low-end cloud servers. Typically, two i7 processors with 16 GB of memory are more than sufficient. We prefer not to require users to purchase expensive hardware that won’t be fully utilized. It’s better to start with a smaller setup and upgrade as needed.
The repository database stores critical information such as connections, transformations, packages, SQL scripts, reports, and execution logs. This is where the results of the ETL designer’s work are stored, making it essential to ensure it is not lost.
The repository database requires approximately 150 MB of space.
