The Copy Folder Action is a workflow tool designed to duplicate the contents of a specific folder, including all files and subfolders, to a new location. This action is useful in various scenarios where data needs to be backed up, transferred, or replicated across different systems or directories. By automating the process, it ensures that folder structures and contents are preserved during copying without requiring manual intervention.

  1. The Write Variables option ensures that the “Package Action” logs the variable values into the “Action vars before log file” before the action is executed and logs the updated variable values into the “Action vars after log file” after the action completes.
  2. This option is typically used for debugging and is not recommended in a production environment.
  3. It can be globally disabled through the options dialog .
