Text File Writer

The writer is capable of saving data into delimited or fixed-width files. All parameters are user-definable.

Tip: To change Writer properties double click on it.

1. Reader Properties
2. Refresh Data
3. Edit the file in an external editor
4. Add a new column
5. Delete the last column
6. Copy field definitions
7. Switch to Data View
8. Switch to Data Definition View

You may rename fields and change the field’s width here. (Works only for text files)
