Active Table Editor uses a role-based security model to control access to application features and data.
Every user must belong to at least one User Group and have a Menu assigned.
The combination of User Group membership, Group Access Rights, and the assigned Menu determines which Menu Items the user can access.
Once Group is created it is possible to modify the list of Group members.
Access rights tabs define the list of objects available for group members.
| Permission | Comments |
|---|---|
| No Access | Blocks access to the Menu Item regardless of group membership |
| View | Group members can view the data |
| Insert | Group members can insert records |
| Update | Group members can update records |
| Delete | Group members can delete records |
