How to Copy Data from Access to OleDb - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an OleDb Connection to your Access source file (.mdb or .accdb)
- Create a second OleDb Connection for the destination (another Access file, Excel, DBF, etc.)
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click a transformation group and select New to start designing the data flow.
3. Configure Reader
- Open Reader Properties
- Select the source OleDb (Access) connection
- Choose the table or use a custom SELECT query
4. Configure Writer
- Open Writer Properties
- Select the destination OleDb connection
- Specify the target table and write mode (append, replace, truncate)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map Access fields to the destination structure
- Apply any needed data transformations or validation rules
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (green arrow) to execute the task. The built-in log tracks all progress and errors.
