How to Copy Data from Access to ODBC - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an OleDb Connection to your Access (.mdb or .accdb) file
- Create an ODBC Connection to your destination database
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click a transformation group and choose New to start building your data workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Open the Reader Properties
- Select your Access (OleDb) connection
- Choose a table or enter a custom SQL SELECT query
4. Configure Writer
- Open the Writer Properties
- Select your ODBC connection
- Choose the target table and write mode (append, replace, truncate)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Match Access source fields to the destination ODBC table columns
- Apply any required data transformations or formatting
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button to execute the process. Advanced ETL Processor will log all operations, handle errors, and support rollback if needed.
