How to Copy Data from Access to Salesforce - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an ODBC or OleDb Connection to your Access database (.mdb or .accdb)
- Create a Salesforce Connection with login, password, and security token
2. Create a New Transformation
In the transformation tree, right-click a group and select New to begin your data integration workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Double-click the reader object to open Reader Properties
- Select your Access connection
- Choose a source table or write a custom query
4. Configure Writer
- Double-click the writer object to open Writer Properties
- Select the Salesforce connection
- Choose the target object (e.g., Contact, Lead, Account)
- Select the write mode: insert, update, or upsert
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map Access fields to Salesforce object fields
- Apply data transformations, cleaning, and lookups as needed
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (green arrow). The data will be pushed to Salesforce. All activity is logged with real-time feedback and error reporting.
