How to Copy Data from MySQL to SQL Server CE - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create a MySQL Connection using host, port, database name, and user credentials
- Create a SQL Server CE Connection by specifying the path to the .sdf file
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click on a transformation group and select New to start your workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Double-click the reader to open Reader Properties
- Select the MySQL connection
- Choose a table or write a custom SQL query
4. Configure Writer
- Double-click the writer to open Writer Properties
- Select the SQL Server CE connection
- Choose the target table and set insert mode (append, truncate, replace)
5. Map and Format Fields
- Map MySQL fields to SQL Server CE columns
- Apply data type conversions if needed
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (Green Arrow). Data will be copied from MySQL to SQL Server CE with full error handling, rollback, and logging.
