How to Copy Data from MySQL to Salesforce - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create a MySQL Connection using host, port, database, username, and password
- Create a Salesforce Connection using your Salesforce credentials and security token
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click a transformation group and select New to start building your automation workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Double-click the reader to open Reader Properties
- Select your MySQL connection
- Choose a table or define a custom SQL query to fetch the source data
4. Configure Writer
- Double-click the writer to open Writer Properties
- Select the Salesforce connection
- Choose the Salesforce object (e.g., Lead, Contact, Account)
- Select insert, update, or upsert mode
5. Map and Format Fields
- Map MySQL fields to Salesforce fields
- Apply data type conversions or transformations as needed
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (Green Arrow). Data from MySQL will be copied into Salesforce with full logging, error handling, and rollback support.
