How to Copy Data from SQL Server to InterBase - Step-by-Step

1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor

  • Create a SQL Server Connection with server name, authentication, and database
  • Create an InterBase Connection using the database file path (.gdb/.ib) and credentials

2. Create a New Transformation

Right-click on a transformation group and choose New to define your data pipeline.

3. Configure Reader

  • Double-click the reader component to open Reader Properties
  • Select your SQL Server connection
  • Choose the source table or enter a custom SELECT query

4. Configure Writer

  • Double-click the writer to open Writer Properties
  • Select the InterBase connection
  • Choose the destination table and desired write mode (append, replace, truncate)

5. Map and Format Fields

  • Map fields from SQL Server to InterBase
  • Apply data type conversions or transformations if necessary

6. Run the Transformation
