How to Copy Data from Access to BDE - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an ODBC or OleDb Connection to your Access database (.mdb or .accdb)
- Create a BDE Connection with the appropriate alias or direct path
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click on a transformation group and select New to begin your workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Open Reader Properties
- Select the Access connection
- Choose the source table or provide a custom query
4. Configure Writer
- Open Writer Properties
- Select the BDE connection
- Choose the target table and write mode (append, replace, truncate)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map Access fields to BDE fields
- Apply transformations or conversions if required
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (green arrow). Logs will show detailed status and any errors.
