How to Copy Data from Access to MariaDB - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an ODBC or OleDb Connection to your Access database (.mdb or .accdb)
- Create a MariaDB Connection with hostname, port, user credentials, and database name
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click a transformation group and choose New to begin building your workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Open Reader Properties
- Select your Access connection
- Choose the source table or use a custom SELECT query
4. Configure Writer
- Open Writer Properties
- Select your MariaDB connection
- Specify the target table and write mode (append, replace, truncate)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map Access fields to MariaDB columns
- Apply data transformations or type conversions as needed
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (green arrow) to execute the workflow. All operations are logged with detailed success/failure status.
