How to Copy Data from Access to Firebird - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an ODBC or OleDb Connection to your Access file (.mdb or .accdb)
- Create a Firebird Connection with the correct database path and credentials
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click on any transformation group and choose New to start a new workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Open Reader Properties
- Select your Access connection
- Choose the source table or write a custom SQL query
4. Configure Writer
- Open Writer Properties
- Select your Firebird connection
- Choose the destination table and preferred write mode (append, truncate, or replace)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Match Access fields to Firebird fields
- Apply type conversions, formatting, or transformations if required
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (green arrow). Advanced ETL Processor will execute the transformation and log all steps in real time.
