How to Copy Data from Access to DBF - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an ODBC or OleDb Connection to your Access database (.mdb or .accdb)
- Create a DBF Connection by pointing to the target folder or file
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click a transformation group and select New to create the copy workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Open Reader Properties
- Select the Access connection
- Choose the source table or provide a custom query
4. Configure Writer
- Open Writer Properties
- Select the DBF connection
- Choose the destination table or file
- Set the write mode: append, replace, or truncate
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map Access fields to DBF columns
- Check text lengths, numeric precision, dates, and null handling
- Run a small sample first, because ten awkward rows are easier to fix than ten million
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (Green Arrow). Advanced ETL Processor writes the selected Access data into DBF and records the run in the execution log.
