[Work in Progress] Multi Column Picture Report

Hellos,
Today I finally got to making a multi column report . 

Very much a work in progress but I am very happy with the progress. Things used 

1. Multi Column
2. Table
3. Merging columns
4. Hiding Column Rows Frames
5. Using Code to load images

Looks great

I have hit my first bump on this project. When previewing the report , I see the unicode symbols as shown above , but when I export the file to PDF , I see blanks

 

I tried playing with various standards, embedding fonts, compressing , print optimised etc , but same result every time
 

I am struggling to understand the issue, can you highlight the missing characters please
