How to Copy Data from SQL Server to SQL Server CE - Step-by-Step

1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor

  • Create a SQL Server Connection with server details, authentication, and database
  • Create a SQL Server CE Connection by specifying the .sdf file path

2. Create a New Transformation

Right-click a transformation group and select New to begin creating your workflow.

3. Configure Reader

  • Double-click the reader to open Reader Properties
  • Select your SQL Server connection
  • Choose the source table or enter a SQL query

4. Configure Writer

  • Double-click the writer to open Writer Properties
  • Select the SQL Server CE connection
  • Choose the target table and insert mode (append, replace, truncate)
