How to Copy Data from MySQL to Firebird - Step-by-Step

1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor

  • Create a MySQL Connection using host, port, database name, username, and password
  • Create a Firebird Connection by specifying the database file path and credentials

2. Create a New Transformation

Right-click on a transformation group and select New to create a new data pipeline.

3. Configure Reader

  • Double-click the reader to open Reader Properties
  • Select your MySQL connection
  • Choose a source table or define a custom SQL query

4. Configure Writer

  • Double-click the writer to open Writer Properties
  • Select your Firebird connection
  • Specify the target table and insert mode (append, truncate, replace)

5. Map and Format Fields

  • Match MySQL fields to Firebird columns

6. Run the Transformation
