Exporting to Excel - Table (keep formatting in place)

1 The issue with clear table that the table must have one header row and one data row.

We can clear all data within the table but it is not possible to have table with 0 data rows.

Try inserting new table in Excel you will see what I mean

2 what is the difference between Add to Table and Add to bottom of table?

1 I understand ,we must have headers remaining always , or at least 1 header and 1 empty row
2. I think better terminology will be clear tables and add to table (except headers)  and Append to table (means if Table is already 10 rows long , then add from 11th row)
3. If Append is difficult , we can simply do clear table and add to table

2. If I select data starting from TOP ROW , I get an error AND the template xlsx is delete , this is consistent behaviour 
 

Just FYI 

What is AND the template xlsx is delete? 

In writer if I select tables and select -> data starting from TOP ROW , I get an error as the screenshot AND then , the file selected is deleted 

So in below case ,
