How to Copy Data from MariaDB to OLE DB - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create a MariaDB/MySQL Connection with hostname, port, database name, username, and password
- Create an OleDb Connection by specifying the provider string and connection properties
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click on a transformation group and select New to create a new workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Double-click the reader object
- Select the MariaDB/MySQL connection
- Choose a source table or enter a custom SQL SELECT query
4. Configure Writer
- Double-click the writer object
- Select your OleDb connection
- Choose the target table or object and set the action (insert, update, or replace)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map MariaDB fields to OleDb target columns
- Apply transformations as needed (e.g., date formatting, numeric precision, Unicode/ANSI text encoding)
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button to execute the transfer. Logs will display real-time progress and any issues encountered.
