How to Copy Data from MariaDB to Salesforce - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create a MariaDB/MySQL Connection with hostname, port, database name, username, and password
- Create a Salesforce Connection by entering your Salesforce username, password, and security token
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click on a transformation group and select New to create a new workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Double-click the reader object
- Select the MariaDB/MySQL connection
- Choose a source table or enter a custom SQL SELECT query
4. Configure Writer
- Double-click the writer object
- Select your Salesforce connection
- Choose the Salesforce object (e.g., Account, Contact, Opportunity, or custom object)
- Set the action (insert, update, or upsert)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map MariaDB fields to Salesforce object fields
- Apply transformations as needed (e.g., date formatting, text encoding, numeric precision)
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button to execute the transfer. Logs will display real-time progress and any issues encountered.
