How to Copy Data from InterBase to DBF - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an InterBase Connection by specifying the database path, hostname (if remote), username, and password
- Create a DBF Connection by pointing to the target folder where DBF files will be created or updated
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click on a transformation group and select New to create a new workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Double-click the reader object
- Select the InterBase connection
- Choose a source table or enter a custom SQL SELECT query
4. Configure Writer
- Double-click the writer object
- Select your DBF connection
- Choose the target DBF table (file) and set the action (insert, update, or replace)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map InterBase fields to DBF columns
- Apply transformations or conversions as needed (e.g., trimming text, date formatting, numeric precision)
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button to execute the transfer. Logs will display real-time progress and any issues encountered.
