How to Copy Data from InterBase to BDE - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create an InterBase Connection by specifying the database file path, username, and password
- Create a BDE Connection by choosing the appropriate BDE alias and parameters
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click on a transformation group and select New to create a new workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Double-click the reader object
- Select the InterBase connection
- Choose a source table or enter a custom SQL SELECT query
4. Configure Writer
- Double-click the writer object
- Select your BDE connection
- Choose the target table and set the action (insert, update, or replace)
5. Map and Transform Fields
- Map InterBase fields to BDE columns
- Apply transformations or conversions as needed (e.g., date formatting, numeric precision, character set conversion)
6. Run the Transformation
