Access Violation Error

This is a legitimate error and not an access violation.

Please post another screenshot so we can see entire screen

Hi Mike,

I can't provide the full screenshot. But this error started appearing after updting the tool.

The Scenarios that we are getting the error was:
1. When we refresh the data in the writer component.
2. When we open a new tool from open folder.

And what would be the resolution for access violation error?

1) It is unfortunate that you're unable to provide us with the screenshot.
We do not need to see your data just a the transformation.
That would help us a lot

2) We don to know if you are running a 64-bit version or a 32-bit version.
Professional or Entreprise.
So we have to run every possible combination trying to reproduce the access violation you are getting.

Would it possible for us to connect remotely and investigate access violations?

3) Regarding "Could not find any File(s) to read"
That usually happens when there is a mismatch between the mask and the path

For example, the file "Source.xlsx" does not exist in "the folder" C:\Support\"



or during the execution: There are no files matching the mask "data*.xlsx" "the folder" C:\Support\"

What is your writer type is Excel, text file ETC?
