Rename file from content of an xml

Hello Mike,

There is the rare case that the xml is already here but the pdf is ready a few seconds later.
How would you intercept this?

I would add a pause action and wait for several seconds

If the files come via an FTP (e.g. every 10 minutes), doesn't the pause do me any good?
Or do I understand this wrong?

Would I not have to do an error routine in my case if it does not find a pdf when renaming and then just take the next xml?

When we created an example for you we assumed that both files always present.

Since you have different requirements now the better approach would be

Create list of xml files in directory
www.etl-tools.com/wiki/advanced-etl-proc...le-operation-action/
Loop over the list of files
www.etl-tools.com/wiki/advanced-etl-proc...actions/loop-action/
If something fails move to the next iteration of the loop
