Provider cannot be found(MSSQL/OLEDB)

Hi Everyone.

Just letting everyone know that we added OleDB Manager button to the latest release.

It makes it easy to see the list OleDB Drivers installed.

 

 

Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client from the MSSQL 2012 Feature Pack is no longer available for download from Microsoft web site

In the latest version we have added support for SQL server ODBC driver 18 and SQL Server 2019 ole db provider.

To make life of our customers easier I have downloaded all required files and made it available for download as a single zip file

This would be much appreciated by new customers . Should become a part of onboarding process. If I had a blank machine / VM I would create a video on how to do this from scratch with SQL Express to get customers moving quickly.

Hi Everyone.

I have spoken with our developers and we decided to include those files as a part of setup process like we did for access engine and tableau.

This will make life of new users much easier

Yesterday we spoke with one of our customers who could not install the drivers due to compatibility issues with the third party software.

So what we had to do is to add the ability to manually select Ole DB provider.
I think that will resolve the problem with  "Provider cannot be found" for all our users.
I wish we did it earlier.
