How to Export Salesforce to Hyper - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create a Salesforce Connection using your credentials and security token
- Create a Directory Connection for output Hyper files
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click on a transformation group and choose New to start building the export workflow.
3. Configure Salesforce Reader
- Double-click to open Reader Properties
- Select your Salesforce connection
- Choose the Salesforce object (e.g., Leads, Opportunities, Contacts)
- Preview and select the fields to export
4. Configure Hyper Writer
- Double-click to open Writer Properties
- Set the target type to Tableau Hyper
- Choose the output filename (e.g.,
salesforce_data.hyper) - Set internal table name and output directory
5. Map and Transform Fields
Map Salesforce fields to the Hyper output structure. Optionally:
