How to Copy Data from ODBC to Access - Step-by-Step
1. Launch Advanced ETL Processor
- Create a ODBC Connection using a DSN or connection string details
- Create a Access Connection with the database file and target table
2. Create a New Transformation
Right-click a transformation group and select New to build your data workflow.
3. Configure Reader
- Double-click the reader to open Reader Properties
- Select your ODBC connection
- Choose a table, object, or custom query where the source supports it
4. Configure Writer
- Double-click the writer to open Writer Properties
- Select the Access connection
- Choose the destination and write mode, such as append, replace, or truncate
5. Map and Format Fields
- Map ODBC fields to Access columns
- Apply data transformations, conversions, or validation rules if needed
6. Run the Transformation
Click the Run button (Green Arrow). The data will be copied from ODBC to Access with built-in logging and error handling.
