A little while ago, one of our customers asked whether Advanced ETL Processor could extract data from Clarion TopSpeed files.
At the time, the answer was simple: No, it does not.
But we also said: We will take a look.
Fast forward one month, and Advanced ETL Processor 6.5 now includes support for Clarion TopSpeed files.
Clarion TopSpeed files now work directly
The practical bit matters. Advanced ETL Processor can read Clarion TopSpeed data directly. You do not need to set up ODBC just to get the Clarion source data out.
That means you can build normal ETL workflows around Clarion data: read the source, map fields, validate values, write the output, schedule the job, and check the logs afterwards.
