Choose the ETL tool based on your data complexity and automation requirements, not on the fanciest demo. Simple imports usually need a simpler tool. Complex validation, transformation, and generation workflows need a more advanced engine.
Start with your data, not the vendor demo
The fastest way to choose the wrong ETL tool is to start with branding and dashboards. Start with your inputs instead: flat files, APIs, Excel workbooks, XML structures, and how messy they are in practice.
Rule of thumb: if you only load clean tables and delimited files, you can use a simpler path such as Visual Importer ETL. If you need complex transformations, validation rules, sorting, and generated outputs, use Advanced ETL Processor Enterprise.

Choose a simpler ETL tool when:
