What is changing
From 1 August, prices for DB Software Laboratory products will be updated. This applies to products such as Advanced ETL Processor Enterprise, Visual Importer ETL Enterprise, and related editions.
Existing customers can still use their current licences. The price change affects new purchases, upgrades, and additional licences placed from 1 August onward.
Why prices are changing
The products have grown substantially over many years. Advanced ETL Processor now includes hundreds of transformations, validation rules, workflow actions, automation features, and supported data connections. That growth takes ongoing development, testing, documentation, and direct support.
We are also keeping the licensing model simple: self-hosted software, one-time licence options, no per-row fees, and no requirement to send your data through someone else's cloud. That model is better for many customers, but it still needs sustainable product maintenance. Software does not fix itself, although some log files do appear to believe otherwise.
What you should do
If you already planned to purchase, the practical answer is simple: order before 1 August if the current price matters to your budget. If you are still evaluating the software, download the free trial and test it with your real files, databases, and scheduled jobs before buying.
If the product is not a good fit, do not buy just because prices are changing. A rushed licence is not useful if the tool does not match your ETL workload. If you are unsure, contact us and describe the workflow you need to automate.
Important dates

- From 1 August: updated pricing takes effect.
