Solution

Step 1: Open Registry Editor with Administrative Rights

  1. Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter.
  2. Right-click on Registry Editor and select Run as Administrator.

Step 2: Locate the Problematic Registry Key

  1. Navigate to the specific registry key indicated in the error message.
  2. Right-click the key and select Permissions.

Step 3: Modify Access Rights

  1. In the Permissions for [Key Name] dialog, ensure that Everyone has Full Control.
  2. If not, click Add, type Everyone, and assign Full Control.
