Database migration

Hi Team,

I want to migrate database from a PostgreSQL database to Microsoft SQL Server using Advanced ETL Processor  .
Is this supported by Advanced ETL Processor, or do I need to use a different tool?

Please confirm.

Yes, you can use AETL to copy data from PosggreSQL to SQL Server.

I’m planning to migrate the entire database in one go. However, the video tutorial demonstrates the migration of a single table, while my database contains over 250 tables that need to be migrated.

Could you please advise if there's a way to perform a bulk migration, or if there's a recommended approach for handling large-scale migrations efficiently?

Unfortunately there is no easy solution for entire database migration.
We did some migration projects in the past and It was always a very time consuming operation.

1 Create target tables (Using appropriate filed types)
2 Copy data across
3 Create constraints and indexes
4 Create procedures, triggers and views.

And we had to do it multiple times because we had to tweak field types for target database 

Microsoft has created some migration tools but there is none for Postgres
