Multi Factor Authentication

Hello

We use Outlook as our mail server. Recently Microsoft have disabled basic authentication, which means that Microsoft 365 POP and IMAP settings will only work in clients that support modern authentication (clients that can use  multi-factor authentication (MFA) ).
With these recent changes on Micorsoft, We can only connect to SMTP, We are no longer able to connect to IMAP and POP from our ETL. We use Advanced ETL Processor Enterprise, standard license – version 6.3.7.9.

Please have a look at the following two links
This link shows the required connection details

www.etl-tools.com/wiki/advanced-etl-proc...ons/email/office365/

And that link describes the process

You may also need to upgrade the repository

Thank you Peter for your reply. I upgraded my repository and I'm able to connect the my email. However when I want to choose a folder from the Folder list to connect in the connection component or move the email after reading in the receive email object, I can only see 11 of my folders, I thought that The drop down is not showing the folder so I typed in the folder name I need, but it does not recognize the folder.

Hi Mike

I have almost 20 folders on my email. You can see 12 of those folders in the attached screenshot. You can see that I have a folder named insurance and another folder named Liendex. When I want to choose these folders from the folder drop down of Office 365 connection these folders do not exist on the list. Looks like the list is ordered alphabetically and Inbox is the last folder that I see in the list. The same issue exists on 'once message is downloaded' on receive email object.

Hi Tara

It can be an issue on our site.
I have spoken with our developers and they suggested creating a special build for you (Which should help to find the problem)
Can you provide us with a screenshot of the About box so we know which version to create.
