Oracle set user schema for tables window

Kudos for a great tool and hope you keep it available.
This is just a suggestion on usability, it works perfectly as is, but for the Table Incremental Search filter it might work a little faster if you do a refresh after the enter key is detected and not every OnKeyPress event. On large numbers of tables the refresh after every key press slows things down and sometimes can become non responsive. Only a suggestion

Until recently, I was working on version 5.3.2.10, but on my new computer, I installed version 5.3.3.12, encountering the problems mentioned before.
By displaying all Oracle tables and using an incremental search, the performance is significantly lower compared to the previous version I was using.
I agree with the requirement to be able to filter tables and/or change the search. Or revert it if it were the least problematic, because I believe that the old way was no less practical since all the tables were visible in the builder, anyway.

I had a look at the code and it exactly the same.
We do have version control here.
The code is literally 3 lines.
Perhaps your database has much more tables now?

We will try to add "Keyboard Throttling" might increase performance slightly

 

Can you try version 5.3.3.14 please.

If you type very fast the search will not run after every key pass but once typing is completed.
It is a little bit more complicated than that and in theory it should improve performance.

I don't know which versions you're referring to. As mentioned at the beginning of the thread, the tables displayed seem to have changed at some point. In my case, apart from the program versions, there are no changes in the database. In fact, when I open it, each version displays different lists at the same time.

I've downloaded and tested it.
Although I've noticed improved performance, something strange is happening: when I quickly type the name (or part of it) of the table, the attached image appears (full screen!).
t also appears when I quickly use backspace.
I have the impression this is related to a pop-up ...
