DBBrowser and ODBC Error

Hi ther,

I'm using DBBrowser portable for many years and I find it a really great tool.
I worked with direct connections to Oracle and PostgreSQL and it worked fine so far.
Yesterday I tried to open an ODBC Connection to Oracle and I got errors:
"Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another"
A double crosscheck with excel (32bit) worked fine, another crosscheck with excel and Postgresql works fine, too
So does anybody have a hint for me what the problem could be with DBBrowser and odbc?

Maybe it's because I'm no native speaker , so pls excuse my bad English.
I'll try once again:
I have an OBDC-Connection to a certain Oracle database on my computer. To this odbc-connection I added a connection within DBBrowser., testing connection works fine (pic1)
Clicking on the connection, the table list appears.
But then no sql-statement works.... the error message is always the same
"Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another"
A simple "select count(*) from "edms_config" doesn't work at all and be asured the table "edms_config" (1 row)  exists.(thx so far for the link)

Now I figured out, that is no specific oracle-problem; with postgresql it's the same, not even a connection to access database works, error message still the same

I hope, I could clarify my problem?

It might have something to do with the regional settings of your computer. (Default language, formats etc)

Can you post screenshots of regional settings, please?
Also, are you able to see the list of the tables on the right?
Please post more screenshots (jpegs)
