Transformer Object Only Allows 4 Output Fields to map to

Hi,

I am trying to extract records from a database to a flat file.
My SQL statement contains 6 fields.
The validation task pick up all these field and maps them correctly.
The transformer picks up all the source fields, but only supplies 4 output object fields.
When you add the additional output objects and map them and save it, upon returning to the transformer object, the new output fields are removed along with their mapping.

Is this a bug, or am I not doing something?

When the transformer is connected to the writer it takes the list of output fields from it.

Thanks for the Response.

Yes this worked. I was using the graphic interface to add an output field in the Transformer object, which doesn't work.
Once I selected the Writer{} tab and added the new field(s) in the writer tab, this then is mappable in the Transformer object.
