Transform to show first value in column

Hello,
Looking for a transform that can just display the first value returned for a single column

Example data set::
COL1 COL2 COL3
147.79 MISC PAY 1
147.79 MISC PAY 2
147.79 MISC PAY 3
147.79 MISC PAY 4
559.47 HCCLAIMPMT 1
642.4 HCCLAIMPMT 1

In the below example result set would like to remove the repeating value of 147.79 in COL1.
Desired result set:
COL1 COL2 COL3
147.79 MISC PAY 1
MISC PAY 2
MISC PAY 3
MISC PAY 4
559.47 HCCLAIMPMT 1
642.4 HCCLAIMPMT 1

Thank you for posting a detailed explanation.

Am I correct in my assumption that you what to show COL1 value only when COL3 value = 1 ?

no I would like to take the repeating value out of COL1

I see what you are saying and and that would work if we did COL3 = 1 or 0
