Union function very slow

Hey Guys,

Maybe i am doing something wrong again, but the union function is very slow. It is only processing about 3000 records per second.
Is there a more concrete description on how the functionality works, except for the one in the documentation?

I have 2 tables with the same structure of fields, and just want to insert the one table into the other..

Can anyone help?

If so why you are working with only 2 tables?

Which database are you working with?

Yes this is the union I am talking about.
The flow we are using now is:
1) use one transformation to join data and create 1 QVD as output in a certain structure
2) use one transformation to add to this QVD in the same structure.

My source is XML, output QVD.
I am allready working with 1 set of temporary .csv which i create using xsl transformation object in a "package".
