Transform Action Properties - After Execution Tab

I have ETL Pro 6.3.7.18 32 bit

When I upgraded from an old previous version, I think something has changed and was wondering if this is by design.
When I run a package that involves a transformation object, I pass variables to a Script Object.

In my screenshot, I am selecting the properties of my first transformation object. I click on the After Execution tab and enable the Variable <Transformation Processed>. I would use this in my Script Object.
e.g.
Var
pS: Integer;
begin
pS:= GetVariable('<Transformation Processed>');
SetVariable('<countPS>',pS);
Result:=True;
end;

This was under my original setup. But when I upgraded, it appears this Variable has lost its use to track a record count. It appears that it uses <Transformation Processed 1>. Is this a change? I just happen to notice the variable can be changed to <Transformation Processed 1> as an item but I cannot revert back to <Transformation Processed>

Thanks,
Chuck

Hi Chuck

I just happen to notice the variable can be changed to <Transformation Processed 1> as an item but I cannot revert back to <Transformation Processed>

Works fine for me.

Remember when you edit the data within the grid the data is saved when you select a different record.

I am not sure what you mean by that but anyways, at one point that was the problem. It gave me another variable name with an incremental number as an option. But now I cant replicate it. When I changed it and used it in my script code, the number of records was properly given.

OK

Here is how to rename the variable

1 Edit variable name within the grid (row 8)
2 Click on row 9 or any other row (that will save the changes)
