extra whitespace

I am using the software to pull data out of one database using odbc and then write it to a mysql database. When it writes to the mysql database it is adding a bunch of white space at the end of the field.
The original data was 211206 the data gets written as 211206         
(9 spaces at the end)
the field being written to in the database is a varchar (15)
it appears if the data being written does meet the exact number of characters the field can handle it adds blank spaces at the end
how do I stop this from happening?

If it is char padding with spaces it is expected behaviour

Anyway please use trim transformation to get rid of spaces

that fixed it, adding a right trim to the incoming data in the transformation removed the trailing whitespace. Thank you Very much.
