Get Field:

Similar to the Splitter step, but returns only a single field. Use this when splitting large fields and only one specific field is required, particularly when processing EDI and HL7 data.

Set Field: 

Replaces the value of one field in a delimited string without affecting the other fields

We are helping one of our customers to transform EDI messages which can be a real pain and we found those functions are very useful

 

Actually nice both are very helpful !! We(AETL) are getting into column arrays sorting and manipulations.

Another useful string manipulation for arrays can be removing/sorting duplicates which currently I am using python to do 

[31234, 34234, 31234, 008, 008 , 008 , 008] 
will yield 
[008,31234,34234]

That should be easy to implement, we will let you know once it is ready  

from marketing perspective , we should call them array operations ? or JSON operations
