AETLE Directory Monitor Virtual Memory

Hi

We have been having issues with a server grinding to a halt. I have located event entries indicating that AETLE Dir Monitor is the largest consumer of VM.

This has started happening since installing AETL v6.4.5.69 x64

It takes about a week for it to start affecting the server,  so I am guessing it is leaking memory in small chunks. I noticed that v6.4.5.77 mentions a regex bug fix to DirMon. Is this related?


Please advise as this has some significant impact on downstream production systems.

Hi Team

We have 20+ monitors setup.

All use File Wildcard Masks against a specific folder related to the purpose of the inbound file on a network share accessed via a UFC or DFS path

The Source path is generally if not always a Directory Variable and the monitors are all set to look for New File Additions and will wait for the file to be ready with a timeout ranging from 5 seconds to 60 seconds depending on the source platform.

All Monitors call a package that in turn typically calls a transformation package.
