It also helps to to add python location to PATH 

so when you type on command line where python , you should get the location of the python installation . see example below

C:\Users\Sxn>where python
C:\Users\Sxn\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python312\python.exe

To add to path you need to open system properties -> Environment Variables -> PATH
