File and Excel Operations

Hi everyone.

I am trying to import Excel data into a Qlik Cube.

The files have landed in this directory via an ETL process from an email.
It is possible that the data changes several times a day.

I need certain format specifications for the import.

The file name is predefined up to 'at'.

Question 1:
How can I format everything including the extension in lower case?

 

Question 2:
How can I rename the Excel sheet name to e.g. Sheet 1?

How do I get the old sheet name in Excel?

There is no variable in the file metadata.

The software assumes that that sheet name is always the the same.

I suspect that your situation may differ, for example, you might have multiple files where each file contains a unique sheet name that you need to standardize.

Is this the case?
