Pretty HTML Table - Styling TD

 
HI ,
I am trying to create a HTML table using Pretty Table Example , so encoding XML elements , I am running into trouble when instead of plan 

ENCODING XML element to be td

I want to encode them with a slight flare such as 
<td style="text-align: center;">MY TEXT</td>

SO I try to Encode XML element with  <td style="text-align: center;"
I get the output of
<td style="text-align: center;">MY TEXT</td style="text-align: center;">
It's of course wrong

 

The hacky solution is Prefix and Suffix , which works 



Question is since I don't understand anything about XML encoding , is there any other function which can be used to facilitate or suffix/prefix is the solution ? 

Using Prefix and Suffix is a right solution in your case
