This is rather simple

1 Uncheck "Sent as HTML"
2 Insert variable
3 Check "Sent as HTML"

Can you also provide two alternative names for these two variables

+ Added: <CurrentDateTime> and <CurrentDate> variables

as {CurrentDateTime} and {CurrentDate} to avoid HTML tags issues
